The card, minus the Preakness, is probably drawn tomorrow but possibly today.

Card gets drawn tomorrow. Full PPs become available after the Preakness draw, which takes place at 4:30 PM EDT.

Preakness undercard is usually the worst of the three Triple Crown races, but that doesn't mean there won't be plenty to bet on.

SAY WHAT? I think it's the BEST of the three undercards, or at least on par with Derby and Belmont. That CompUSA Dixie is always an awesome race.

really? No way it beats the Belmont undercard.. two other Grade 1's (Manhattan & Acorn), and three other Grade 2's; True North, Just a Game, and Woody Stephens..

The best card of the year other than Breeder's Cup day, IMO.

Seeing as how New York stakes seem to average 5 or 6 horses these days, I don't think the Belmont undercard will be anything to write home about.

On an unrelated note, I hope they card that 1 1/2m starter race this year.

Unfortunately, that's not all that uncommon at some other tracks too.(see any west coast track)

As for the Belmont, the break is the most overlooked form of trouble in racing in my opinion. War Emblem had zero chance after that break.

I forgot one other horse that may have had the best chance to win the TC the last decade...Ghostzapper.
If you'd seen WE in the paddock (assuming you weren't there) you'd have wanted no part of him. He looked terrible.

I didn't want any part of him anyway. He was like 4 to 5 or something.

I thought that this year's Derby under card stank, apart from the Turf Classic.

I agree. It was well below par. If Belmont had run that people would have been screaming. Though, to be fair, the Humana Distaff was a terrific race as well.

Pimlico usually does a good job and Friday's card is a lot of fun.

I agree the derby undercard was the worst it has been in along time. The LaTroinne was a really good field IMO. And I happened to fancy Silverinyourpocket. Had the Ex. really good to boot.

The Fri. card @ Pim. really looks lackluster without the Pim. Sp. and the BESusan came up weak as usual.
