its a big what if, but I was going to single Casino Drive today. I have said that I felt Casino Drive would have drilled Big Brown. of course he wasn't going to be able to do that with a bum leg.

I'm just wondering if the comparisons to Secretariat will die down a bit now.

I hope he could because this race came up with a 79 cannonshell figure (that is a bad number-btw)

like the horse knows what was on the line. has nothing at all to do with love for a horse. he's a decent horse. i just didn't think he was worthy of winning the tc. and he wasn't.

Big Brown acted like a horse who ran out of air. High humidity puts extra stress on the lungs, it would not surprise me if he bled in his lungs. Or maybe like me, he gets nasal passages full of mucus due to allergies in that kind of weather.

Or like you maybe he was full of something else and couldn't relieve himself before the race.
