I am losing weight at such a rapid rate that I'm starting to wonder if I have cancer or aids or something.
Since I returned from Florida in late Feb I've lost 25lbs - my diet is basically the same as always - a bowl of cereal for breakfest, a footlong sub for early lunch (either tuna, veggie patty, turkey & ham, or chicken bacon ranch mostly) If I'm not having pizza for dinner or going drinking - sometimes I catch the pre 3:30 lunch specials and get Hunan Chicken with pork fried race and wonton soup as my 2nd lunch. Sometimes I'll get an antipasto salad from a nearby deli at around 3:30. Sometimes a Chik-Filet meal or medium roast beef meal from Arby's. Besides running a mile 3 or 4 days a week, I'm not really excersizing a whole lot - and haven't been going to the gym that much. I went to Florida weighing about 200lbs at the end of November - went to the gym virtually every single day, took 3-to-4 shakes of muscle milk a day and creatine once a day. Came back about three or four pounds lighter with much better muscle tone. Since I stopped taking the supplaments and working out I have started to look like a greyhound. I came back looking great - and at this rate - I'm about just a few months away from looking like an Auschwitz victim. That good muscle is vanishing and I've become twiggy. |

I'm simplifying this, but the end result is that your liver will release stored sugars into your blood while expecting to get it's stores replenished. Because you aren't consuming a real sugar your liver goes into a sugar deficit of sorts. Because the liver doesn't get this, it 'demands' that you eat so that it can restore it's levels. This results in your appetite increasing and forcing you to eat when normally you wouldn't have had to. You'd have been better off in the first place drinking a sugary soda! Obviously that's not a good choice however, and you should drink water. Avoid anything with aspartame and splenda, which are both toxic anyways. This dude down the street from me, for two years I told him if he was to do just one thing to lose weight (something easy), that would be to cut out sodas. He did, and he dropped 40 pounds. |
