I'm surprised that Spirit One is 8-1 ml odds. I think he's the best and will hope for 5-1 and up

ZENYATTA 09/20 Hol/ft 6f 112.4h
Looked grand galloping on the 19th here at Hollywood and then
turned in a great work here for Shirreffs. Worked with Bronzino, a very
good workhorse, but not such a great racehorse. She started five
behind, closed the gap by the 1/4 pole, and drew off in the lane by
three and went out strongly. Bronzino had no response at all as he
seems to be a bit chicken hearted.

from today's racing digest

If you believe that Hystericalady won't like this stuff....you can get a nice price playing a straight Zenyatta with Santa Teresita exacta. Well it will be nicer than Zenyatta with HL anyway.

I think that Zenyatta will have too much work to do when they turn for the wire. It looks like Hystericalady has it her way on paper.

Maybe HL gets pressured a bit early by Wake Up Maggie as Tyler more likely to send than most? But no question Zenyatta better bring her A game.

Agreed. I'll tell you what, I don't care what anyone says but I'd love to see her in the Classic and not the Distaff. She ran the last 1/16th in under 6 seconds...rough math and all that's impressive.

The track is a highway today so times or fractions really dont mean a whole lot.

But to come from off the pace so effortlessly...

She does things pretty effortlessly, if she does go to the Classic and wins, alot of if's yes. Can anyone deny her a HOY Eclispe award? She's a big filly and I don't think it would be a disadvantage for her to try, in addition she would get a weight allowance and at her size that would be sort of giving her a 5 ft head start not as if she needs one.

She has no turn of foot at all on synthetic.

She was lucky to hold off that rat for 2nd.

If they run HL in the Distaff - they should ride her hard the whole way and go for the as fast as you can for as far as you can tactic.

She's zero - for - life on synthetics ... where on dirt she dominantes horses with a huge burst for a speed horse off the base of the far turn.

She's not going to the Classic but she should be. And if she won she'd absolutely be HOY.

Fascinating that an amazon like her that comes from way behind, was within three lengths of the pace and still sailed on in ...
It showed me a new dimension, even conceding the slow early pace ...
This mare is just too good ... She is elegant, full of personality, and can run ... Perfectly ...
Despite the clamor to run her against males---where she does belong---I applaud the connections that are letting her grow into her huge body and mature mentally ...
If she runs next year, I can not see her not going against males ... And successfully ...
