What did you think about the Palin interview with Couric? I have asked other conservatives on here about that and no one has given me a straight answer. How would you rate her performance?

i don't watch much msm type stuff, but did catch the clips that they showed over and over from the couric interview, which i'm sure were the ones that they felt were the most damning.

my rating? so far i'm underwhelmed. lets see how she handles the debate.

Thats honest.

Its surprising that they are handling her the way that they have been. Throwing herr to Couric was a recipe for disaster. A man couldnt have been that direct with her without risking coming acrosss as a bully. This is one of the main reasons i dont think the debate will be a walkover for Biden. If he goes at her with both guns, she can play up the down to earth hockey mom thing and he comes out looking overbearing and brutish.

the key for her is dumbing it down to a couple of key talking points and hoping that Biden will say something bidenesque. She can't begin to match him in knowledge or experience but she is tons the best in terms of charisma.

This will be interesting. They have a lot of work to do. The rumor, and it is rumor, is that there are members in the McCain campaign that are extremely frustrated with her.

Lets not get too excited. Biden may make gaffes but its obvious he knows what he is talking about. He has a grasp on whats going on. Whether you like him or not, you can't even begin to compare the interviews each gave.

Palin was downright remedial. Saying that she "wasnt impressive" is like saying zippy chippy lost a couple of races or that Timmigirvin isnt smart.

All of those statements are true but don't begin to tell the real story.
