Bay crushed another ball tonite that shows why trading for him was probably the smartest thing Theo has done so far in his tenure in Boston.

Myth #1- The Manny trade wasn't a good one for Boston
Myth #2- KRod is the best closer in baseball

2 real bad pitches from KROD. Amazing how they play up the fact this or that team has somebody's #. What team wouldn't of hit those pitches for atleast singles or doubles? If the Halos expect to win in the playoffs with Santana and KROD throwing that ****, then they're mistaken. Chisox, Cubs, and Halos haven't pitched well enough to win playoff games. Lackey may be the exception(just made the one bad mistake,) but Lester did out pitch him.

If someone had told me that Pedroia would go 0 for 8 with 2 walks and 9 men LOB....and we would still have a 2-0 series lead???

Talent and a-s-s-hole tend to come together to form a talented a-s-s-hole an awful lot. This is not rare. There seems to be a definite link, and it sure isn't just limited to sports. Papelbon, Barry Bonds, etc. etc.
