Marty, any coincidence her best playing has come after switching putting coaches?

you are dead on , glad she made the switch , Leadbetter has the swing down , i don't think a young golfer needs a putting coach, let your eyes dictate where to line up and hit the ball

i see all good putters putt and not ever worry about mechanics , when you get too mechnical you lose feel and touch

good for michelle , hope she wins in houston

I think her swing was better when she was younger. But she has always needed a putting/short game coach. She finally has someone that has an actual clue about putting that is helping her. I think she has a breakthrough year in 2010.

I was looking at their schedule for next year and it is pretty sad. I think only 24 events?? Bivens really screwed that tour bad.

in some sense yes , but kev you have to look at the state of the economy,
events like corning simply couldn't go on anymore, not because of what bivens did , but the $$$$ was just not there from the sponsors anymore

wegmans tournament also ended this year (although a major is being played there next year i believe)

another even held in upstate NY that just cannot afford it in this down economy , i know she came off hard Bievens , but, i think with these events there $$$$ dried up

in my area kev , wkygal did not want an event any longer , it was too much disruption for the memership , wkygal would proabably want to host a US Women's Open and i think that at a Par 70 for the Women it would be a great test.

that being said when i was at the sybase this year , creamer and wie were paired on sat together i believe , they were not the leaders , they went off at least an hour before the leaders who were lincicome , pettersen , and the asian lady who ended up winning. i could have talked to the 3 leaders all day saturday , there was no one following them , every one was follolwing the wie/creamer group ----for women's golf to really take off Wie is going to have to become a superstar in my opinion ....we shall see if it happens

I understand the state of the economy having an affect Marty, but trust me, Bivens pissed off a lot of tournament directors. She certianly did the tour no favors.
