Manning: 0-6, 77-170 (45.2%), 899 yards, 3 TD, 8 INT Sanchez: 3-3, 85-163 (52.1%), 1,035 yards, 5 TD, 10 INT Even Peyton threw 28 INTs in his rookie year. Sanchez has the goods, but he's 22 and requires patience. I've given up the brief hopes that we were a Super Bowl caliber team this year, but I still think the future is bright w/the Dirty. |

Just seeing this thread for the first time and trying to catch up with what I have missed:

I guess a 59-0 Pats win brings the fans back out of the woodwork. Quote:

As far as Sanchez goes, I do believe he will be fine down the road. But I really think that Ryan dropped the ball yesterday. I know you don't want to hurt the kids confidence, but you also have to do what's best for the team. And he should have pulled Sanchez at some point yesterday. He even had a built in excuse with the weather. Could have spinned it on Sanchez's first game in any kind of elements. Could have even used Eli's performance in the playoffs as proof thet even expierenced QB's sometimes have trouble in that kind of wind. Most people would have probably given him a pass if Clemens came in and the Jets won. But instead he left Sanchez in, he threw a couple more picks and then they went on to lose the game. So Sanchez takes a bigger confidence hit and they lose a divisional game at home against a bad team. I think Ryan did a poor job with the situation.

Where is Douglas, there is much meat left on this bone.....
All Brady needed was his magic Grogan shirt and tuck rule weather.... It's okay to credit the Raider's for winning, the Eagles do not suck.... Buffalo proved once again that they get more pleasure from beating the Jets than any other team. Marv Levy sprung for ice cream after the game yesterday... |

Passing too much in the 4th quarter was a huge mistake, especially when they had 3rd and 3 and were going for it on 4th down anyways. But what did the Jets in were the penalties in OT. All three of their OT drives were killed by penalties that prevented them from being able to just run the ball down the Bills throat. |

I know people are sick and tired of reading this, but Andy will right the ship and have this team in contention to go far in the playoffs. Whether or not he gets over the hump this year remains to be seen (probably not), but he will have them hitting stride like crazy come December. This teams units start up front, and once they start getting some punch in the lines, other peices will fall in place. (except for Trotter, I can outrun his a$$) Bring on the barbs, its the norm for people who know how dear I hold this team. NOte:: Please do not quote the Booth Operator or Dyldo when they chime in on this one. Out of sight, out of mind and I plan on keeping it like that.
