The 7 horse was a PA bred, she was pulled up. Wonder if she got 40% on that $150 she earned.....

Not sure that dirt is KNS' preferred surface, still gave a good effort. Hopefully better luck tomorrow! As I figured, that 7 was not right, unfortunately I used the 6, but only with KNS.

Spoke with tony following the race. He said she handled the track just fine and actually in to the bit early. He believes she can and will win at this level and suggested she run back soon provided so comes out of the race ok. Overall she was well behaved in the paddock

Just myself and steve popyak in attendence. We both took photos and will post later. Heading north to NYC now.

Too bad another mediocre run. All the horses looked tired at the end but I was happy she held on for fourth. I just think her "best self" would have been a lot closer to the top two. Hopefully the quick turnaround will have the desired effect. I'm looking forward to it.

I hope Nina is ok. Hard to imagine people putting "injured" horses in a race.

People drop horses into claimers everyday that have issues in hopes that someone takes them off their hands, that is the risk of the claiming game. Having said that, I hope the horse is ok too, but that doesn't change the fact that the horse was a vulnerable favorite today.

Forgot to mention we met Dawn from Fox Tale Stud. She said Sumwon is doing great and they love having her at their farm. They had a horse who was ultimately claimed in the race prior to KnS's.

Here are a few photos from today:

Not surprised.

For the record, was it just one tear or many?
