The horse you don't want back between the 4, 5, and 6 from last time is the 4. Of course, the 2 wasn't exactly 'likable'

Why not the 4 fats?

The 4 ran after the 5 did. The 5 make a relatively premature move and still won the race. I got sucked into the 6, because she got stopped twice in the race. This is after I've gone on and on about how horses that get stopped have an advantage. As it was, I'd never have used the 2.

pools must be really small at Woodbine becasue the odds dropped after the race was over
7 went from 7-1 to 5-1 and 2 went from 3-1 to 2-1 I boxed 7 and 9 so I don't really care what the off odds were

Not Bourbon has not raced in 599 days. I believe he is a toss but he has lots of bullet works.

The problem is that you can't be sure that either the 3 or 4 will be loose. It appears as if the 4 is faster but the 3 outran him early last year. If either gets loose, there's a good chance it wires. A duel means the 7 wins -- long layoff and all. Can't mess with Attfield at these odds. Not exactly a good betting race.
Adding to this: I just never trust Husbands to do the right/expected thing. |
