I think just on raw talent, your not NEARLY GIVING HIM ENOUGH CREDIT. As talented as anyone the last 10 years, not saying he is the best, but just as talented as anyone.

lol

don't get me wrong, i really like ML a lot and think on his day he was really tough, but beating a horse like Phone Trick? No.

I think he probably was the best sprinter on that list however. Maybe KG, maybe him.

you went from maybe one of the best ever to as talented as anyone in the last 10 years. i can probably agree with that. its really hard to tell just how good he might have been. but based on what he did on the track, he doesnt belong on any all time lists.

I think Precisionist in the mile race, provided he was given free reign, would have fared well.

Does anyone remember those meetings between Precisionist and Greinton in 1985, from the Strub through those HP summer races.

Best six month rivalry evah!

That is a huge backpedal from "may be the best ever". Now he's "competitive".

It was too bad that Precisionist didn't fire in the following year's Big Cap when Greinton ran down the Franks/JVB longshot Herat. Precisionist did get his revenge a few weeks later in the San Bernadino.

mentioning these great sprinters made me think of Eillo. Last ran in 1984. Won 12 of 17 and from memory probably had some monster #'s

I thought this thread was about the TVG folks yesterday apparently posting P3 tickets for Monmouth that didn't exist as a bet offered.
