'carthage'-a bit of a nod to several members in the pedigree. it's a (former, almost mythological) city in africa. no doubt everyone is aware of hannibal-and of course aeneas supposedly stopped there after leaving troy-dido killed herself when he left...at any rate, that's my reason for suggesting it.
'erasmus', or 'erasmus jacobs'. that's the name of the fellow who found the first diamond, leading to south africa becoming a huge diamond and gold provider. 'principality'
