I can't remember what turf writer suggested in a column/article last year that only dirt graded earnings should count for Derby entrance, but I'm all for it. Then again, a gang of money was plowed into Stately Victor last year, which isn't entirely a bad thing.

If it weren't for Rachel A, Dunkirk and Summer Bird, Mine That Bird might be a Triple Crown winner. What about Shackelford? I like all the preps. Line them up and let them run.
