Why is she moving to Maine, and where? If you ever go visit her, let me know. Believe it or not, Maine is a great state for foodies.
Work, Southern Maine. The only person I know who has lived in more states than me!

The coastline is probably much better than down here too.

I'm a believer. I have several friends in Maine, from Rockland to Waterville to Bangor. I visit Maine whenever I can, which isn't often enough. I would spend my summers there if I didn't have to work. I Maine.

There's a restaurant in Portland called Duck Fat that has pretty much the best brunch north of New York City in the states.

Been there a bunch of times. Fries fried in duck fat, with euro style homemade mayo/aiolis.

Chicks really seem to love their truffle ketchup. Never knew about their brunch, thanks!

Portland is a pretty neat place. For a city.

Give me the Lobster Pound in Ogunquit...steamah's, lobstah with buttah, and corn on the cob. Throw on the bib, sit at a picnic table, and let the skeeters bite my ankles.

This is the place to go for lobster in Southern Maine. It's BYO alcohol too!

http://www.chaunceycreek.com/

Pretty views, lobstah right off the boat, lots of deer sighting, etc.

Let me know next time you come around this area. I can regale you with Indian Charlie stories.

Which reminds me. I have a standing invite to go out on a lobster boat this summer. Might be fun.

Lobster Pound in Ogunquit is fine, but the Lobster Shack in Perkins Cove is the best lobster roll in that entire town.

Thread hijacked by a lobsta', but put me on the pier in SouthWest Harbor in Acadia and it doesn't get much better than that in my mind.

I never realized how popular Maine is with people on DT.

Never actually been to Acadia, yet.

Anyways, sorry for the hijack.

I'd rather talk about Lobsta than talk about Valah.

agreed. Maine is wonderful eventhough I've only been there once and was a kid at the time. But Acadia was magnificent. Will have to get back there soon enough.

If you're one of the main owners of the horse that just won the Kentucky Derby, don't you think it's a bit odd to tell a worldwide television audience that you "GOTTA GO!"

Wait, did you mean "main owners" or "Maine owners"? This thread has me very confused.
