OK, I will eat the words I wrote that started this thread starting tomorrow around 11 AM.
But what really disturbs me is the way the media tries to get a story here. Seems to me they try to hang the win or loss on the Captain and his strategy. Strategy smategy.
At this level it all comes down to who makes the most 4 or 5 footers, and Woosie has the greens so slow (on purpose) that it seems like we missed way too many to win. Zach especially missed quite a few he coulda made.
I guess I really don't care who wins anymore, and I did enjoy watching, but we're down 10-6 and I still find myself hoping we make a run at the Euros.

T., that is a huge factor. Those greens are only rolling about 10-10.5 and that is what the Euros play week in and week out, where as the PGA Tour average about 12 every week. You know as well as I do that it is a million times easier to go from slow to fast greens than it is to go from fast to slow greens. But...no excuses...

Europeans win, Probably the worst Ryder Cup team in history.

No doubt the Ryder Cup points system left a lot of experienced players off our team. Lots of discussion coming on that topic. 20/20 hindsight has me wishing we had Couples and D Love on this squad. Greens look slower than sh*t again today, too.

Would have taken a lot more than Love & Couples. This is an absolute embarassment. On the flip side, the Euros just flat out deserve this and deep down I dont think these American players will lose a minute's sleep over it. Its all about the dollar to them.
