I loved Proud Truth. It's amazing he came back from his injury to win that BC Classic.

Yeah, Proud Truth was one of those generally forgotten and underappreciated horses most people don't know much about.

That crop he was in was sick.

Wasn't much after his first 9 races ... with only a maiden win under bug rider Willie Martinez to show... but this horse eventually won and placed in a few big races.
