lol @ Bold Brooklynite, but if your list will include people with horse faces, how can you omit the ultimate horse face, John Elway?

why the hell would YOU want to ride any horse?

dont tell me you have become a horsey persons who takes vacations to KY Horse Park to feed Cigar carrots and stuff now.

you can probably still ride Phar Lap if you want.
i think they stuffed the dead animal and placed him in some museum in Australia.
go there and ask them if they will let you hop on.

you really think horses, especially thoroughbreds, live the afterlfe in the same heaven that Christians believe in?
thats an interesting belief. If its true, I sure hope I find smarty jones up there.

if there is a heaven, I sure hope they allow gambling on horses.

If there aren't any animals there, I am not staying.
But if there are and I am worthy of going to heaven
there are too many to name and I know you asked
for only five.......

Omar Bunny
Star Over the Bay
Shamrock (first horse I ever rode)
Ruffian
Belle's Good Cide (because I love her son)
Seabiscuit and Pumpkin

and the list goes on and on!

OK, I'll add my 2 cents:

1. Cass O'le (did ya think my #1 would be anyone else?)
2. Annivel (horse I learned to ride on and the sweetest mare you could ever meet.)
3. Secretariat
4. Ruffian

And as my the saying goes "God forbid that I go to a heaven where there are no horses".

thats kind of a weird subject to think of,
but at the top of that list I would have to think would be whoever Kate Beckinsale was portraying in The Aviator.
Im positive I want to do her.
