I wonder if Pletcher has already run his good stock because that was a god awful performance from Back Flip.

Thanks guys. This is pretty gratifying after not being able to find my ass with both hands for a good two months.

Same here and if Junior gets the 7 up I would've have it. But I had a tough time seeing Irad's horse there.

Nice job as well, Billy!

Spa 6

I think this is a pretty crappy bunch and this race sets up for a longshot. I am already live in DD to the 1 and 4, the 1 was taken ridiculously wide on the turn last out and lost any chance, these are a bit softer than he has been facing, rates a long look, IMO. I know the 4 is 1 for 17, but has improved on numbers since being moved to the turf and I think this one fits in with this bunch and can step up against a pretty weak bunch overall.

$10DD 1,4/3,8

If you get the chance, watch the head-on replay of the break. So Its True (#5) breaks immediately outward and Nagzilla (#8) immediately breaks inward. In the mosh pit that formed, Velazquez pulled Back Flip (#7) out of the frey and was severely compromised.

I put Back Flip into Stable Mail to follow-up in his next run.

I saw the trouble as well, but it would have been nice to see the horse run a step after that, it is not like it was a slow pace to run into.
