![]() Personally, I don't care for Bernie as a stallion prospect. NOT a fan of Quiet American at all and he's inbred all to hell. I'll pass...

You think he's hated nhow by American race fans?...Shiat....They'll want to string him up i he follows through with this decision ad they should be mad...we should expect more from Darley and group.....(kidding bout the stringing up part of course ![]() I would no longer remotely support them if they did this.....one of the reasons I respected them was because I thought that if they had a good horse that was perfectly healthy they race him as long as he was effective and good because they could afford to do so above any others in the game....I really hope I wasn't wrong about them, but if I was, then I will throw my Godolphin membership card in the trash and start a retraction thread about every supportive thing I've said about them over the last 5 months ![]() |

If I had Sheik Mo money; not only would I continue to race him but when it was time to stand him at stud, I would limit his book to 60 mare, only mine! I mean what the hell difference does the money mean to him and his family? 99% of the owners in the world would get no negative comments from me if they retired the horse because when you can get life changing money, you have to do it . But there is pretty much no number that will change his families life. |

If you believe that Pletcher has an unfair advantage then why would he only use it on Fleet Indian? How do you know that English Channel is "legitimately good"? I dont understand your argument on this? I could understand if you said that he has the most talented barn in the history of American horseracing and are disguisted because you feel he has an unfair advantage as well as the best horses. But to claim that you can tell which horses have been illegally enhanced and which ones haven't been, kind of demeans the whole crux of your argument. |

On top of that, I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to determine that EC is (and was) a quality individual from the day he broke his maiden, while Fleet Indian has improved nearly 20 lengths from 4 to 5. That just does not happen to horses with established form... |

![]() Its a great shame in both cases.
I think Alexandrova simply raced a bit lazily dropped back to 10f in the l'Opera last time, and I'm sure Fallon wont be overly happily with the ride he gave her. Call it rustiness, call it what you like. I'm pleased that they're seemingly giveing her the chance to race at 4, as I'd love to see her reconfirm my view that she is seriously good by repeating the style of those 3 Oaks wins. Dylan Thomas has still put up the best middle-distance performance by a three-year-old on turf this season (Irish Derby). All we've really learnt of him from the Belmont run is that he doesn't act on dirt. I'm sure he will prove best over a mile and a half, and next year's Arc should be his target. |

How do you explain said form reversals then? And why do ALL the potential culprits share this trait? |
