Best performance of the day, bar none. Not bad for a trainer who was said by a prominent forum member to be "blind without a cane".

I can't either these days. The prices are just too accurate.

When you beat TWO 3/5 shots in a p3 sequence with a 7/2 (2nd choice) and a 10/1, sandwiched around an 10/1 in a brutally tough race, and the p3 only pays $900? That's tough.

IMO the 'dead money players' abundant on big days have to be taught the pic 3 play. I think most are WPS bettors or maybe exacta or triple players if they remember how the bet works from their last trip. The wiser players were caught playing against each other with pic 3's and the payoffs showed.

By the way nice meeting you and see iyou n Saratoga Springs.

GREAT PICK!!!!!!! It was great that this horse learned to rate. I really thought this horse was a one-dimensional front runner. I would like to see this horse try the turf and see if he can handle one-mile on the turf.

Pro Pink is a graded placed sprinting 3 yr old filly. She is by Touch Gold and from the family of Man 'O War and Assault.

Did he rate or stumble in the gate and be forced to be somewhere other than the lead?

I agree. I believe he stumbled leaving the gate which in turn could have been what won him the race. Great job by the jock to not rush back to the pack, knowing they were going to fry each other on the front end. He was last at every call except the one that matters. Terrific race by the Toof and pilot.

They were offered 650 after her big 2yo race and declined. Bet they wish they would have taken that offer now. You cant have a barn full of Tueflesbergs, gotta have at least a hand full of Pro Pinks. Horses that show promise and never run well again

he "stumbled badly" leaving the gate [robby albarado's words], had to steady around the turn, ran off the pace for the first time ever, and was whipped i'm pretty sure only 5 times.. last 1/8th? i think was a hand ride. nipping at the pony horse & kicking up his heels on the way back to the winner's circle.

THAT'S MY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice call, Fearless.

Not only did he win, he overcame the stumble, fractions sizzled, and he came home in 121 and change.
