It was the first TV video game system. I believe Atari made it but I could be wrong about that. We thought it was sooooo cool back then. But then we didn't have cable yet. My how times change.

yeah, atari was THE thing. i remember when space invaders came out. oh man, to look back on that now! yeah, my kids can't concieve of only three channels, and no remote! WE were the remote!

Your avatar was way before Space Invaders. It was like ping-pong. I think we could adjust the speed of play as well. I remember when the bars had tables with the games built in-space invaders, pac-man, donkey kong, and my favorite-Galaxian.

My daughter found it on a computer arcades game and downloaded it for me. Nothing like blowing up those little alien ships when you're having a bad day!
