Be careful what you say about Nick Zito. BTW doesn't like when you talk about him--I wonder if he is in love.

I hope some time in your life you learn the joys of friendship.

In this particular instance I only find his lying particularly ridiculous because I actually do know all about Doc Cheney.

Why would it matter to you? Perhap you should re watch the movie "Bronx Tale" Sonny tell C"For twenty bucks the jerk is out of your life" This guy cost you nothing and wasn't trying to disparage your guy IMO. He is just clueless.

It was a joke BTW.

I know, understand and respect the joys and hardships of friendship. I also know you know tons about Zito and his horses (Doc Cheney in this instance), this is why I typically believe you when it comes to things like this.

I took it as a joke....and thus kidded in response.

Yeah, I do know the Doc Cheney story, not that there really is one. But, I do know everything the other guy posted ( both here and in a previously deleted thread ) is complete BS.

I understand people in racing are open to criticism here, and much of it is fair, just as it often involves people I know. However, if I feel someone is being unfair I am more than ready to at least try and inject a kernel of truth. We all leave plenty of room for fair criticism.....I just wish people would stick to that.

I look forward to the day we meet. I might even by you a beer or Captains and Coke. I, for one, believe criticism is good (along as it is criticism based on fact and sound reasoning). If it wasn't for warranted criticism, then we would never get better at anything. And truth always trumps everything.

The holiday season always brings me joy. For me, it isn't about me or my family-we have enough. I believe it is to help the less fortunate. So if you and your family need any help, please let me know.

Well looking into the horses eye's is sort of like looking into the eyes or a person you are hiring better, the girl who sweeps you off of your feet or even looking into the eyes of someone dying. The good ones always have that special look to them. They look at you with confidence and with a sense of I am someone(thing) special. So I have helped you with understanding the non-verbal communication of eyes. As far as being a know-nothing idiot....well that will be very hard for you to learn. You are way way above that level.

I am easy. Nothing wrong with being easy at all. Just ask the women in DaHoss's life.

Do the current eligibilty rules for HOF membership rule Chris Antley out of consideration until about 2025 when he could be considered by the Historic Review Committee.

A while after Antley's unfortunate death, Lukas spoke out about how Antley's supposed great love for Charismatic was being, to say the least, overexagerated. He basically said if Antley cared so much about the horse how come he never even visited him between races. Say what you want....Lukas would know.

Lucas complained nearly a year after the Belmont, that Ant didn't come see how Charismatic was doing the day after the injury. What he didn't tell the reporter was that Ant flew to the West Coast the night of the Belmont Stakes and rode" Magicalmysterycat" to victory for Lucas the very next day in the Cinderella Stakes at Santa Anita. Lucas made several comments to reporters well after the Belmont race that he didn't think Ant rode Charismatic correctly that day. IMO he is still bitter about not winning the Triple Crown. Ant wasn't perfect, but there is no doubt his accomplishments on the track surely qualify him for the Hall of Fame.

He also talked about Antley never coming by the barn between races....I believe.

Antley gave Charismatic a horrendous ride in the Belmont. The unfortunate events after the race saved him from being murdered in the press.

Did anyone watch Pat Day on Legends? Stevens ask Day about his relationship with Lukas and all Day would say is that they had a love hate relationship. He elborated a little more stating that he would hire and fire Lukas and Lukas would hire and fire him. I got the impression that Day didn't want to talk about their relationship. A very awkward part of the interview.
