Who was the host? He gives off that 80's Miami Vice Coked-Up Douchebag vibe.

Yeah it ended early because Ken Rudolph wasn't there reprising his role as the donkey that everyone pins the tail on.

I think a prerequisite to being successful in horse racing is having a huge snout.

That show is a bigger train wreck every year. At least it was 30 mins shorter this time.

was the show as long and booooring as the heisman presentation?
i don't bother to watch the eclipse show, so much easier to just read the winners the next day, in a fraction of the time. and no audio!

well, thank goodness the assman didn't win.

And that last line is ridiculous.
Agree on the "boo". I could find a place in my barn for him.

The old " I wish I owned him " line of defense?

That's the line that people use to defend a horse against opinions that they know are correct....but wish weren't. It's just like telling people that have reservations about synthetic surfaces that they don't care about the horses. It's a smokescreen.....and a lame one at that.

Funny, I would have thought that someone who recognized true talent like yourself, being that you named yourself after the magnificent Theatrical, would understand real talent when they saw it. I guess I was wrong. Theatrical would be disappointed.

English Channel is like the 4 year college basketball player now. He had some talent to get where he was and improved a bit each year he stuck around but you are always looking towards the new players because you know what he is and it aint that great.

You ARE wrong ... The line " I could find a place for him in my barn " is neither a defense or a comment on ultimate talent ... It is sort of analogous to the line " I wouldn't kick him/her out of bed " .... The implication accomodates " good enough " at best, never sublime ... And I thought you knew that ... Rest assured, Theatrical's screen name will NOT be changed to English Channel ...

I am, according to you, wrong....and then you want on to explain that I was right.

But, I respect you for blindly defending your blind friends.

Predictable, but not at all the case .... The friend part was correct however ... Your ersatz respect is of no consequence to me ... My reference was lost on one whose only reference remains his righteous self ... OY, how tiresome sir ....

Congratulations! It wasn't easy, but I think at this early date you have sewn up the award for " Most Pretentious Post of the Year. "

Ersatz! That's awesome.
