![]() Don't they say that you make your own breaks? The Pats weren't able to capitalize on the breaks that they got. Bradshaw, getting his own fumble and the 12 man penalty. Two chances to have the ball deep in Giants territory. I really do believe that the Pats thought they were good enough to just turn it on when they wanted to, and it almost worked.
As far as Eli goes, I believe that he has turned the corner. He has become the franchise QB they thought they were getting. Ernie Accorsi didn't get much credit last night, but the foundation of this team has his fingerprints all over them. I also thought that I heard that the Giants are the third youngesst team in the leauge. They are in good shape for the future, maybe this could be the begining of something really special.

![]() You are taught in Pop Warner football that when a field goal can't beat you, you don't let a man get behind you. I guess Ellis Hobbs never played Pop Warner.
The Giants deserved to win. They took it to the Pats from the start. They played with more hunger and desire and purpose and earned the win. They played as well as they could play and got a couple of breaks and got the win. Anyone that doesn't see that they got a few breaks just doesn't want to see it. Samuels had both hands on a ball that easily could have been intercepted and the game would have been over. The Pats fell on a fumble and got it taken away inside the Giants 20 that could have really changed the whole game. Eli was extremely close to be called in the grasp on that miracle play to Tyree. But none of those things happened. Those are the breaks. Giants won it. The Pats didn't lose it. I know some are going to say that the Pats choked. I don't agree with that. Choking is when you start making uncharacteristic mistakes. Start turning the ball over, dropping passes, committing silly penalties...those are mistakes. The Giants just took it from them. And to think, Coughlin was very close to not making to this season.

![]() There is nothing better than Darth Sweatshirt walking off the field losing in the postseason. I loved it!! Great effort by the Giants. I honestly think they are a better team. The Patriots were not the same team their last 10 games that they were the first half of the season. They were able to still win, but the complete and utter domination was gone. Great game.

![]() I am so happy that they are the champs. They beat them in the most important game, but if they played them 10 times I think that they would lose 7 of them. Of course that doesn't matter now and nobody can take away what they accomplished.

His game against Green Bay was even better than this one. Mr. Coldweather Brett had trouble throwing the ball straight. Eli was a laser. Eli clutched out for 4 straight games AWAy. ONe in terrible conditions. The takeaway lesson for me is, even if you are the great Tom Brady, if you get dumped on your as s the entire game, its hard to have a good game. Brady was not good. It is hard to see how any QB could have been. So Brady basically plays perfect ball when not pressured. Dump him on his rear, he is like everyone else. Patriots also showed some arrogance in completely foregoing the running game. Bill B. made some arrogant decisions. |

![]() What it boils down to is the Giants basically played the 3 best offenses and the 3 best qb's in the league this year in consecutive games and pretty much manhandled each one of them. They brutalized Romo as they did Brady... and the Packers game wasn't really as close as the overtime and close score would have you believe. I honestly think if the Giants and Pats played 10 times the Giants win 5 or 6 of them.
