being a centrist does not mean one doesn't take a stand. it does mean that people don't necessarily fall in line with one party on a majority of issues. i'm one of those, pretty much split down the middle-agreeing on some things with dems, on others with reps. that's FAR from refusing to 'take a stand'. it is what limbaugh says as well, which is why i mentioned it. i doubt anyone would accuse me of being a fence sitter.
