tomorrow (or thurs cant remember) is Antonio Bastardo's first MLB start for the Phillies. He's a nice prospect and will be interesting to see how he does. Has been pitching well for the Iron Pigs.

Lucky for him his first start will be against Jake Peavey.

yanks pack most of the seats on a nightly basis
1) They are waiting for the fireworks on Friday Night(after the game.)
2) It's on virtually everyone's dish or cable in the L.A. area.
3) Very overpriced.
4) Manny gone.
5) The D'BACKS are having an off year.
6) Starting Pitcher for the D'BACKS is not well known.
7) Fans n' Players (both) took Monday off, after kickin' Baby Bears butts on National T.V.(Sunday Night.) This was a let down.
8) Nobody wanted to see Kuroda get rocked early(was a possibility he could of been horribly off, but he pitched well.)
9) Lakers
10) Poor L.A. Economy
11) Saving their money for the bigger series against the Phils.
12) I Would rather spend $100 a ticket to go to a playoff game.
13) Ocean air cuts down on chance of seeing bombs hit out of that park at night.

LOL..Yanks ain't facing this fkn Dan Haren. Padres n' Giants laying down for us. Let the D'BACKS get da rocks off. It's a fkn lazy group. Waited until the 9th to try to hit last night. Just fkn lazy. Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday= all lazy offensively. So, all these people that say we don't need Manny are wrong. Kuroda was rusty early last night, but was pitching great at the end of his 5 innings. That's worth about 5 wins right now. Remember that BILLYLEE is a choke in the post. We need Kuroda, or we'll probably go out in the 1st round.

unfortunately I cant watch many games unless they are playing the Rays... once and awhile when they play the Marlins the game is on the Florida sports network... but other than that just nationally televised games.

But from everwhere I read, seemed like his night went great for a ML debut! 6 innings 1 earned run, 4 hits and 5 strikeouts (funny how I can remember stats like that off the top of my head but I cant remember so much other stuff).

I hope they give him some more chances. Also glad JC Romero can come back now... Hope they send Chan Ho Park... which everyone on here correctly predicted he would suck and they are right... down to the minors or just send him home.

I hope Victorino plays for the phillies his whole career!!! I still get upset with the fact we were mentioning him in trades last year. He's as clutch as ANYONE in sports (maybe Tiger is more clutch). He brings his game every day. Cant ask for a better player than the Flyin Hawaiian (sp?).

Do you know if the games will be nationally televised?

Get the MLB.COM thing. You're out of the Philly area. So, you can see almost all the Phils games on the computer. That's(I would guess) how these guys are seeing the Dodger games.

Look at the pitch he hit against us in game 4. That's a really tough pitch to do that with. Does he ever get hurt(just asking..LOL.)
