I want to believe that they are a different animal now. Now if they could just have C.C. have a reversal of form from his previous Octobers they will be alright.

tell you what , the yanks will be a bad bet tomorrow night , you are going to get almost 2/1 on either of these teams coming in from a big win , if they lose game 1 , then AJ has th whole season in his hands week 2

look at these guys fighting tonight for their lives in the metrodome , who would you rather be on a sinking ship with these guys or a-rod ?

I find it amazing how many major leaguers constantly miss cut off men and throw to the wrong base. Stuff they teach in little league.

Here we go with the A-Rod bashing already. Last time I checked he wasn't the only one who has not hit in the playoffs. How many DP's did Captain America hit into 2 years ago killing almost every rally they had going.
I agree with the bad bet, since when is laying almost 3-1 in any baseball game a good bet?

Jesus, Miggy get the God Damn piano of your back!

all true , and don't forget TEX has to prove he can be a difference maker, i would have rather seen a team come into the bronx tomorrow night after clinching last week ....this will not be the case tomorrow , they very well could bounce tomorrow , i don't see a bounce tomorrow , i am more afraid of a flat yankee team then one of these guys bouncing

I think these 2 teams tonite obviously have this game as their only goal in life right now. It's gunna be hard for them to reset that goal in less than 24 hours.

I agree I think Tex is the difference maker that puts them over the top.

agreed , but, the intensity can carry them right through the next night , i think it could be the yanks that are flat compared to the twins

Ya think maybe it was time to take out Rodney?
I think the better team won. Even though I think that the Yanks match up better vs the Tigers, I was kind of rootin for the Twinkees.

Yeah, He will probably pitch a 3 hit shutout against them and then the Yanks will give him 110 million over 5 years for his 2nd stint in pinstripes.
