Because they arent citizens.....they should be tried in a military court , they should not be given the same rights as say a regular killer. Just because it all happened at two buildings doesnt make it any diffirent than when The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor. What we should have done and our mistake was to not just drop some bombs in Saudi Arabia , Iran, Iraq , Afghanistan, Pakistan and any other sand flea infested country that had anything to do with it .

I far prefer them framed and tried as the common, despicable, criminal murderers they are, rather than elevated as important military war heros for jihad.

Edit: the ultimate, eternal insult will be to not let them die "war martyrs."

when did they become such p*ssy's? when did they decide the rest of were too?

How do you feel about information extraction methods? Do you agree with torture?

yeah but it was under duress of illegal methods will say the defense lawyer. Not to mention the insanely stupid quotes by Obama saying that he was "confident" that they will be found guilty and be executed before the trail even begins. Kind of defeats the "we are gonna show the world how fair we are" theory.

Here's the thing , they have made it their mission to destroy what you want afforded to them . The mission was to kill as many Americans as they could , destroy our way of life (which includes the liberty of having civilian court) , to disrupt our government and create chaos.
They have and did call this war against the infidels , they chose to be at war with us so in my thinking they are war criminals and they need to be tried in a military court not afforded the same rights as everyone else. They dont believe in our system of government or the way we live as Americans so why should we treat them that way . They are going to be martrys no matter what.

They were not in uniform. No Geneva Convention privileges apply. They could (and should) have been legally executed on the battlefield. Obama's silver tongue seems to be getting a little tarnished. He keeps putting his foot in it. Maybe he's been hanging out with Biden too much!

Interesting. You want to tri them under the rules of war but you don't want to give them the same rights that the geneva convention would provide. I am not saying one way or the other is right but it would seem that it should be one way or the other. No?

according to geneva convention rules, they are being held appropriately from what i've read. geneva does not grant foreign soldiers civilian trials.

I wasnt saying that. I was responding to his statement that geneva convention rules do not apply. That is the part that is not accurate.

And Snyder does suck!

This country should of taken of the above countries long time ago. Maybe there would less terrorists roaming around the world. Just maybe 9-11 would not of happened. I would go back on active duty if I was able to go on a ship that is bombing one of those wannabe countries. Im thinking North Korea should be added to the list.
