Hey Joey..curious about something. Last year at this time it was pretty obvious how you felt about Favre and that was understandable. But a lot has happened since then and he was playing hurt to some degree that last month and couldn't throw the ball the way he wanted to. So..would you rather have Favre as he is playing now next week or SAnchez behind center?

You guys play Minny next year so it will be Favre vs Pack twice and Favre vs Jets once if he come back again.

Sanchez without a doubt. At least if Sanchez pisses the bed it's because he's trying too hard, whereas with Favre it's the opposite. Sanchez also can make plays with his feet, while Favre is a statue. It's trendy to crack on Sanchez, but the kid has a steep learning curve and has shown some great things, and I believe he's going to be an above average QB in the league.

But the #1 reason? Sanchez is willing to throw 12-16 passes a game. Favre's ego is way too big to sit back and watch his team run 57 times a game. As much as I dislike Schottenheimer, I feel like he was handcuffed by having to install a pass-happy offense last year to satisfy the cumslinger. Because of Sanchez's development and maturity, he's willing to defer to the running game, and that's the most important thing a QB can do in this system right now. I'd rather have a QB throw for 100 yards and make no mistakes than the forced passes Favre would give us with our running game and defense (GET WELL DAVID HARRIS, UGH).

Joey, I understand where you are coming from, but I really think that this team would have a realistic shot at the SB with this years healthy Favre under center. He was banged up last year and trying to learn a new offense for the first time in countless years. Also I could see Ryan giving Favre the keys to the offense (which seems to be better this year) as opposed to the Mangenius ruling with an iron fist. If the Jets make it out of the first round, they might have to play in a shootout against Colts/Chargers and I'm not sure Sanchez can win a game like that this early in his career.
They are built to win now and the only thing that might hold them up is the QB.

Just say you think your team is going to win the Super Bowl, that is showing confidence. Saying you think the team should be favorites is just being an idiot.

Sanchez, sure, but want to explain how the hell Rex has cost us four wins? He really has done little wrong this season and he's by far the biggest reason the defense is the best in the league as opposed to last year's 17th. We brought in Scott, Leonhard and Douglas, significant but hardly a complete overhaul. With Mangini this team would've been 6-10, so saying Rex is a liability rather than an asset is f ucking stupid as hell. Truthfully you sound like a bitter Bills fan, and I don't blame you.

What the f uck is wrong with giving a fan a game ball and trying to match mindgames with the Pats?

Cause it's fuc<ing lame and it's a slap in the face to the players out there working their asses off. In both instances someone completely unrelated to the success of the team got recognition instead of guys out there busting their asses off for the team. I couldn't have cared less about Ryan until those two moves. After the first one I lost respect for him and started to dislike him. After the second one I started to hate him so much I actually had to want the Patriots to beat them which just made me hate him even more.

Oh, and it is the Sanchez/Ryan combo that cost them four games, Ryan individually didn't cost them four. Sure Sanchez was mostly responsible for the loss to the Bills but Ryan also shares some responsibility for letting his team thrown six interceptions and losing the game when they were running down the Bills throat all day.
