Get back to us once you watch the game. While it wasn't his best game, he far from sucked. Defense was practically non-existent on big 3rd downs it seemed and dropped passes out of the wazoo on the offensive side.

Give me anything but a Harbaugh Bowl. That's all i ask.

How much time did the o-line give Rodgers? How many drop balls were there? Give credit to the D-line of the Giants, Flynn would have been destroyed back there. Rodgers had over 60 yards rushing. Your man crush for a back up QB is ridiculous. Rodgers missed a few throws, but his WR's and TE's didn't give him much help. Dont forget Rodgers wasn't the DB who let a hail mary pass and couldn't tackle. If you turn the ball over 4 times you are not going to win.

Giants offensive execution and game plan were just about perfect, not sure even if Rodgers had a typical (read awesome) game it still would not have been enough. Time off probably did not help against a hot team either.

No doubt a huge factor, but what they did with them is what counts. Raven had lots of turnovers too, all they did was squeak by.

Let me re-phrase it.
4 turnovers with the leagues worst defense.

+ 8 dropped passes, plus a stupid on side kick, plus the worse hail mary coverage ever.

Giants played a strong game, no doubt about it, but Packers held them to 56 total yards in the 3rd quarter and still couldn't close the gap. This one was on the offense, not their defense..ironically

turnovers killed both packers and saints. saints d held a couple times to force fg's, but when they fumbled 4 yards from the goal...well, that was the game decider right there. seven points no didn't get.
even if the taker doesn't score points, it certainly shut down the packers/saints offenses on those drives. you can't have that many giveaways and expect to win.

I don't know about you Bob, but when they tried that onside kick in the first half, I was really worried. It seemed kind of desperate to me even if they recovered it.

Did you get that feeling?

That and going for it on 4th and 5, down 7 and the chance to bury Giants at a time they weren't moving the ball. Giants end up with a field goal and it was all downhill from there.

If you told me a month ago that neither the Pack or Saints would be in the NFC Championship Game, i would've bet you the keys to the ranch.........Makes me sick to my stomach knowing the best team in the NFC East couldnt get it together until the bed was already a $hitty mess. (and makes me want to choke Sanchez to death with my bare hands for his beyond dismal week 16 performance)

I think McCarthy knew they were getting beat on both lines and tried to steal a possession with the onside kick. Anything that could go wrong did in that game. Manning had all day to throw and Rodgers had no time. Add 4 TO's and it is time to wait for pitchers and catcher report.

They have no one to blame but themselves. Hell, they didn't even have to play like the "dream team" to win the division.

Giants special teams has been notoriously bad all season long. That had to be his thinking behind the on-sides kick.

The play of the game of Osi's strip of Rodgers in the 3rd quarter, Rodgers was going to hit a wide open Jennings for 6 on that play.

Osi was ridiculous on that play. It happened so fast.

Looks like Flynn might not be the opening day starter...

After watching Russell Wilson all last year I am really pulling for him to do well in the NFL

We'll see how this plays out. If I am wrong in the end, I'll admit it.

I thought the Broncos made a mistake not picking him up over Osweiler. Kid is some athlete.

Wilson loses to to the vaunted Cardinals. Kinda tougher when you have to play a whole game against the 1st stringers. Its only a matter of time before Flynn is the starter. (If they want to try and win some games)
