By the way, I can understand the argument for Florida they win the SEC and finish with only one loss, a road loss to a decent Auburn team,
I can understand that, even iF I disagree, because of how hard it is for SEC teams with that tough schedule.
I cannot understand ND, and worst of all is the USC argument.
This is insane, it really is.
Of those one loss teams, the worst loss anybody took was USC's. Should we pretend they didn't get beat by an unranked team?
Fla's loss was to Auburn, ND's to Mich, USC's was to the school for the blind.
This is utter nonsense.

I would also contend that OSU had the luxary of playing in a weak Big 10, didn't even have to play the third best team in the league, AND does not even have a conference championship game~ I mean WTF!
One Big Ten team, that's it, if it's two then it'll be a real travesty, a sham, a mockery of the highest proportions imaginable

And this coming from a guy who has a shrine on his wall to his rejection letter from dean Smith after making a personal plea to let him play Basketball at Carolina. Your lucky he wrote you that nice rejection letter you have framed, rather than call the guys with the white coats and butterfly nets.

Ok bellamy, lemme ask you this. If they did have a championship game it would still be those two at a neutral site, what would you suggest should happen if such a thing did exist and Mich won the neutral site game? Which one goes?
Mich gets penalized for a lack of game, not helped.

No way. MOve on.

Next. Ohio St. really outplayed them badly despite the score. I thought Michigan's defense got ripped. Next please. USC or Florida , West Virginia or even Arkansas (not even close to the same team that got trounced by USC 1st game) I would even accept ND, dont think they beat USC though.

BUT NOT MICHIGAN AGAIN. ITS DONE.

playoffs, will we ever see them in my lifetime...
I wonder what will come first. This or I-69 from Indy to Houston, TX.

When you lose shouldnt matter, where you lose and who you lose to and how you lose should.
How the **** do you place ND with a home loss against Mich in over Mich who has a road loss by a field goal to number one?
Thats gotta be the stupidest thing I ever heard, and you are talking to a guy with ND stuff on his wall, Pgard, my cell phone plays the ND fight song when it rings, I'm not kidding you, I downloaded it.
But I'm no biased guy, I want ND and Weis to win a championship so very badly, I can taste it. But I don't want a tainted one, I want one where we are the best and earn it on the field. I don't want one wheer we go into a game where we don't belong and everyone says its bull****.
I want ND to earn one, just like your team did last year, Texas. I want a real one that they earn. ND has no business being in a game above Mich, none.
No wonder you don't answer. Just remember I don't hear that ring on the other end.

Got a letter from Bob Knight once for winning the Basketball Sectional in HS.

Got a letter once from Sam Carmichael (IU's Golf Coach) for congratuating me on making the State Tournament in Golf, just to be told later on in the Summer in a face-to-face meeting ,that I wouldn't be good enough to make the team.

OUch.

How old are you Seattle? Dean Smith was still coaching when you played HS ball? Or you just sent a letter to Dean Smith to tell Matt Dough et al. to let you play?

that would actually make sense
if UM won, then you could justify a rubber match

i was a sophmore in HS when I sent the letter, come to think of it it was his last year of coaching. WHen I graduated HS in 99 Guthridge was already the head coach.

I am not the expert on football as all you other guys but I did play the game for a bit....
USC is going to kill ND, USC d is alot better then people give them credit for and remember they are a young team that is going to get better with time and they will give Ohio State everything they can handle if they make the title game,
Arkansas no way they should play for the title they lost to USC early in the year 50-14 I repeat 50-14 that right there takes them out of the picture in my mind
Fla- been slinking by all year is a over rated SEC simple as that
ND-come on they won more wars against our military in one year then the whole world has won ever gimme a break didnt Michigan beat them like a drum
Michigan- I am in favor of a rematch on a neutral field they deserve it more then the rest in my opinion....
Just my 2 cents
but this Saturday night USC will beat ND like a drum I will go on record as something like 38-7 and I open myself up for all kinds of sh-t talking hahaha but also remember my picks come with one caveat I have'nt hit a bet on CFB since Bo was coaching Michigan hahahaha

Dude, you always call when I'm on the other line. I deal with sociopaths and lunatics all day long. The other night when you called I saw you beep through, but iwas explaining to some lunatic who wanted 8 times what a horse was worth why I thought he needed counseling.

mike in my opinion

usc vs mich - line would be pick'em on a neutral site (vegas takes away 3 points cause of llyod carr and his staff)

USC and MICH both favored over Florida by 3 - 5 points

All on a neutral field of course

Oh my Lord.

Seattle you poor guy. I live in a town where many ex-NBAers have sons that are HS all stars, very good college players, and the Spurs wont even give them a second look, with inside help. When guys like Tony Parker are taken deep into the draft... ahh to dream.

I seriously could get you to see the Spurs workout one time and if you got one look at how fast, Oh jeez. These guys are fantatastic athletes. Have you ever played pickup with any pro players? Lord these are the best all-around athletes in the world.

If you are that good they will find you, I promise.

Actually Seattle provides comic relief. he actually did walk into his athletic department and ask the poor AD how to declare himself for the NBA draft, hes not making that up. He gives new meaning to the word delusional.
Hes also said its his parents fault that he has this sad lot in life, he says that had they paid for golf lessons that he would be on the PGA tour making millions.

This USC bias is too funny. There are nine teams with one loss, plus Boise State. The Trojans are the only team of the ten to lose to an unranked team. How does this put them ahead of the others?

Oh yeah, that Oregon State team that beat USC ... waxed by Boise State 42-14.

I hope it's Michigan in a rematch. But if not, any team that's not USC would be fine.
