FS has a funky scooting stride.
Of course I thought Michael Johnson's stride was weird. Whatever works. Sprints are crazy. Discreet Cat had his speed duel to set up and pounce but he had nothing. 6 months off and you throw him right in against that kind of speed. I guess they know their horse. Its not like he ran awful but heck thats really tough. |

Didn't Discreet Cat beat Invasor ? I believe that's what they said on ESPN.

I was just joking. You win in this game by having strong convictions, even though we all know we'll be wrong more than we are right.

I was majorly disappointed with DCat today, but am inclined to give him another chance. He has been so impressive off layoffs before but not at this level so they might have gone in too deep too fast.If he does improve leaps and bounds and gets a win in the Dirt Mile and maybe a repeat in the Cigar Mile, it would still be seen as a letdown for a horse of his potential..

DrugS, someone handed me this note for you....
My Dear Druggie-Poo: Do you now know who the real beast is? Discreet Cat is such a pretty boy he should be hanging out with Hossy and his pink sportcoat and nailing the HO's. Warmest Regards, Mr. F. Strike p.s. It has been great hangin with you this summer |
