I have always liked the street walker...A few things to consider :

1)Street Walkers typically are carrying drugs so you can reload

2)Street Walkers typically have a removeable bridge work since most have been banged around pretty good

3)Street Walker's fees goes down during negoiations and you pay roughly 70% of retail where as these "Call Girls" have a traveling credit card machine that links to some satellite in Russia next thing you know what was suppose to be 1300 became 1900 with a tip..

Hopefully Governor Patterson will be a better governor than his predecessor. He has my support and I hope that every NY citizen who reads this writes or emails your local Assemblyman, State Senator, local US Congressman, US Senator Charles Schumer and US Senator Hillary Clinton demanding that Eliot Spiitzer tenders his resignations of the Governorship to allow the Honorable David A Paterson to assume the Governorship of the State of New York.

We live in a representative republic and it is not only our duty as citizens, it's our right provided by the US Constitution to petition our elected representatives. If people fail to live up to their responsibilties as citizens, our elected officials will respond in kind. When Senator Clinton's office or any other elected official receives enough negative feedback on Eliot Spitzer they will not support him. If you are a resident of NY and you are outraged by Spitzer's conduct. you owe it to yourself and your fellow New York residents to contact your elected officials and let them know that you as a resident and a voter will not accept Spitzer's actions.

I'm guessing that Spitzer is trying to cut a deal so he isn't indicted, his resignation will not come until this happens

Legal, illegal, married, not married, etc. -- moot discussion. Very interesting perhaps, but moot. The fingers of hypocrisy are certainly very ironic. I wasn't expecting his resignation, but certainly expected the rumors to be flying.

yeah, it is. he ran on an ethics ticket. hilarious. but then any time anyone points the finger and shouts 'sinner'...they better look to themselves, as everyone else will be.

I think along with the "ethics" arrow in your quiver, the "Sheriff" mentality is well received by the public. However, in this case, I kind of remember him (as AG) being involved in busting up a couple of prostitution rings and/or related activities. Not that it makes it better or worse, nor I do think it's an issue as it relates to what he did -- but I guess we will soon see where this goes. While I have no criminal law background, regardless, I am really not sure of the potential "legal" ramifications here.

What gets me is the arrogance of people like this. Did he really think in the back of his mind "I can do this and get away with it"?

Hell no....deep down he had to think, on more than one occasion, "If I get caught, im f*cked" (no pun intended)

no doubt he thought he'd never get caught. like one sign i read, the sin is so much greater when someone else is committing it. he was probably appalled that others would engate in prostitution--but since his was such a high price, that's different. no doubt in my mind that he justifed his actions, just like anyone does who knows damn good and well that they're not doing right....but just this one time, or i'm in a hurry, or i have a good reason...makes it all ok-to them. but oh how sorry they are when it comes out. not that they did it, but that they got caught!

Well said and I agree, but some of our elected representatives could care less what we think unless thier looking for our vote. I'm sure most of them will distanced themselves from him as soon as more details come out. It's the tip of the iceberg and won't be pretty when it's all said and done.
