FYI, this issue wasn't driven purely by science, it was driven mainly by politics.

Yes. For the past eight years, the issue of stem cell research was driven mainly by politics. And religion.

So I guess we can't let politicians or religious leaders lead the way in science. Because we tried that. Didn't work out well. Pretty much crushed science.

pelosi and biden are both catholic. there are others in washington as well, who are pro choice and catholic. i'd imagine they believe in letting folks use birth control as well, which is also against catholic teaching.

looks like the Barackovich Administration is going to keep campaigning against anything and everything Bush.

Don't believe that private businesses just needed government money to do something that would have been profitable. If they need subsidies then they're is no market
