I'm still trying to figure out how he got away with calling himself a Democrat.

Rough day for desperate cons like high-pitch and the old drug addict Limbaugh

Unemployment number went down a tick

Surely those two losers were hoping that it would go up again so they could pathetically attempt to score some cheap political points against BO.

Probably couldn't care less about the millions that the Great Bush-Cheney-Cox-Paulson Depression has left out on the street.

At any rate, the market is soaring again today ... and I'm looking forward to another outstanding summer weekend full of various water sports.

people must be desperate for good news if they take todays employment data as good news. the number of people working declined again for the ninth straight month. 155,000 lower between June and July.
1.7 million lower since the Sham Wow president took over and starting working his magic.

Time to strike up the band and let's all start smoking the green shoots!

Have you taken advantage of BO's "wildly successful" program and traded in that clunker yet, Cannon?

I still wish the hacks from the Bush admin were still around to ask Cannon Shell and Arl Jim why they want to see America fail.

They are part of the new 'blame America first' crowd.

seems to me the reason they feel they way they do and are passionate about it is because they don't want to see America fail.

Please come up with some new material. We dont want America to fail, we merely point out the reasoning why the Govt's "programs" wont work. I might add we have been quite sucessful in that area so far. Thinking that rooting for Obama and company to do positive things will actually make that happen is the same as not changing positions on the couch during a 2 out rally that wont "help" your team score. Does ignoring the facts that he is screwing up the country far worse than Bush and company ever did (however in the name of change instead of war) make those that support him guilty as he is? We can revisit this in a few years and you can apologize to us then.

Whats the alternative though Coach? These arent stupid people and the destruction of the dollar isnt exactly lost on them. Bernanke, if anything, has been criticized in the past as being too much of an inflation hawk.

This is one hell of a mess this country is in. There is no easy solution and obviously letting the markets take care of themselves was not the answer.

That is not a bad prediction actually. If you can't spend your way out of a recession, you sure can war your way out of one.
