What are you talking about? Alldays opinion is hardly different than mine of course I dont have 1000s of gallons of lubrysn to sell either.

This "wonder pig" was the fav for the Derby. Should they not bother trying to win? What exactly qualifies you to know what is good or not?

The Wonder pig is what I call my horse not IWR who I thought was a heck of a talent..My horse needs constant anti inflammatory meds .. I noticed the commercial the other day as well for lube a butt.. I have been told be many a trainer gastoguard is good but 3 times as expensive as it competition which is just as good.. Do I know it isnt better NO but I dont even know if the Lipitor isn't killing me either.

They went six furlongs in 1:16.34 in the 1st race. A mere 4.14 seconds slower than the wonder pig at the same distance that day.

If the wonder pig gets a 12 Beyer ... that would mean the winner of race #1 would get a negative 45 Beyer. And the 2nd place finisher in race #1 would get a negative 46 Beyer.

Considering that the horse that just missed had run 25, 54, and 23 in her 3 career starts ... I doubt she will get a negative 46 this time.

I think you have answered your own question about the law by reading this piece about a decision handed down months ago.
As to insurance companies, horses are property-chattel-and that is what title insurance, et al is for.

The first link you brought up included this:

IEAH is not an entity I am proud to see represent horseracing for the US. But in this case it appears they are right, legally and morally.

All horses are sold without guarantee to their physical condition unless specifically mentioned. IEAH had an opportunity to have a vet of their choosing examine the horse prior to purchasing their portion of the horse. If they did so and their vet passed the horse then what claim do they have? There is no lemon law regarding horses and the vet records that we have seen are pretty clear. Not to mention that IEAH is privy to their own billing records which shows what has been done to the horse. If they want to have a different arrangement with the vet it is up to them to express that.

I would love to see the bill of sale for the purchase.

And there is no title insurance for horses. The only insurance you can get for racehorses is mortality and it seems as though IWR is still alive.

Morally it seems as though IEAH wants to back out of its agreement because it didnt work out for them as opposed to any rightful claim they have.

The moral of this story is be careful with who you do business with....for both sides.

Kind of looks like IEAH wants the same deal they got from Larry Roman...buy into a horse, if it doesn't work out like you thought...just cancel the sale and get your money back.

It appears that IAEH failed to perform thorough due diligence in their haste to buy another Derby winner. Too bad for them. I really feel for those jacks and a scumbag like Mullins.
