Will Z's connections cry again when they don't win the HOTY trophy because they only put her in one challenging race?

Stay tuned!

It wasn't lying .... it was just a (not so) clever misdirection of the populace in a failed attempt at getting more votes.

Looking up two things in the dictionary:

Horse of the Year:

-The American Award for Horse of the Year is the highest honor given in American thoroughbred horse racing. It has been awarded since 1887 to the horse, irrespective of age, whose performance during the racing year is deemed the most outstanding.

Rachel Alexandra: 2009 Horse of the Year

Toolshed:

-Variation of the common term tool meaning loser. This takes it to another level of tooldom. These low lifes are sometimes just referred to as "sheds"

-The biggest of all tools.. such a tool that he or she could hold all the tools in the world in one place. This word is so powerful that it can only be placed on one person a week.

-This is when he/she greatly exceeds the simple term of tool, toolkit etc.And has now infact become a greater loser then before, a toolshed.

Smooth Operator: 2009 Toolshed of the Year

Amazing how silent the RA fans have been lately.

Almost as if they're scared of something.

Is the memory of Z's powerful score in the BCC still haunting them after all these months … are they worried that RA may not be the same horse after that life-and-death-to-hang-on effort at Toga last summer … or is it QR's recent tour-de-force that has them sitting on their hands???

Just look at Jersey boy's post above … the usual predictable drivel … but not a word about the big race in Arky on 4/3.

No smack talk about how Rachel the Great is gunna send the old Cali mare back into permanent retirement … nothing.

Hell, I think freddy told me RA was the 'best in a generation'. Shirley she can handle an over-the-hill 6yo like Z … right??

By the way, Jersey boy, I believe that turf titan, Favorite Trick, is also on your Horse-of-the-Year list … LMAO

Go jerk off to your newest "recruit" for Traitor Kiffin at USC, the 13yo Quarterback who isn't even in 8th grade yet. Not a good time for the Left Coasters. We understand. No NFL in Los Angeles, the Dodgers are about to crumble, USC and UCLA are headed down the toilet in both basketball and football, the Clippers suck as always, and the Cavs look like the best team in basketball. The Lakers are good. Hey look at it on the bright side for your SoCal teams, at least the Kings might make the playoffs for the first time in 6 years.

And on top of that the dominant horseflesh is located here in the best horse in America in Rachel Alexandra and the 2nd best dirt horse in America Quality Road. But the undefeated,"Older FILLY & MARE" quote-on-quote champ can continue to beat up on allowance fillies on synthetics in SoCal.

Actually, they are humbly enjoying Rachel's coronation as Horse of the Year...and not rubbing it in to the likes of you.

Apparently you aren't over it yet. The real question you should probably ask is why is it bothering you so much.

Is there any particular reason why Zenyatta's bypassing the Big Cap in favor of the Santa Margarita?

Just curious.

I was wondering about that myself. It would be exciting to see her in the Big Cap.
