It also means you shouldn't try to use Yiddish to make yourself look more worldly.

Off topic, but what's with you and talking about tits, knockers, stones, etc? Frustrated much?

My bad, I should have realized that since you are on DT, there was a 75% chance of you being Jewish. Still, your Yiddish is poor.

"I am Jewish dimwit remember ???"

Is that like Domo arigato Mr. Roboto?

Fort???

Maybe you don't have English figured out all the way just yet.

My typing is poor--you haven't figured that out yet ...

My Yiddish is fine ...

I don't know, he looked done entering the far turn IMO only to seemingly jump back in it when Twirling Candy hit a brick wall, then was easily picked off by Richard's Kid, who is probably everybody's #10 on their top ten list for the handicap division (unless they also have Awesome Gem on that list).

In a similar vein, I also thought Jaycito's rally in the Norfolk was somewhat illusory. He seemed spent also chasing the early leaders until at the 1/16th pole, when JP Gusto realized he won a 5f race way back in May.

Of course, I have extra insurance as both will be making their first start on dirt if they show up in the BC next out.

A horseplayer with a side of Dr. Ruth--assuredly you can know this through a keyboard in cyberspace--admirable, but completely wrong ...

I was not trying to pick on you for Fort. I had no idea what you were saying. Now I get it.

I always figured you for a nudniky goyim.

Horses to run in the BC at 6 (or higher) since 2000:
Awesome Gem 2009 52-1 7th
Student Council 2008 44-1 11th
Perfect Drift 2006 34-1 8th
Perfect Drift 2005 15-1 3rd
Pleasantly Perfect 2004 5/2 3rd
Azeri 2004 15-1 5th
Bowmans Band 2004 62-1 11th
A Fleets Dancer 2001 146-1 11th

See something in common here? All but Pleasantly Perfect in '04 were 15-1 or higher, and really most were much higher. Any horse that was good enough to compete in the BC that was intact was gone to stud before the age of 6 in 99.9% of cases (PP in '04 a notable exception.) Age isn't the factor that will get Zenyatta beat if she loses... it's the lack of shipping and/or quality competition on her lesser surface.

Of course she could have. She can also talk as well but chooses not to.

On a serious note, too bad the connections didn't take advantage of trying different surfaces in this era. Because great horses like Secretariat or Dr Fager would never have tried to run of a different surface like turf...

A more taxing campaign might've emptied the tank too much.

I think John has her right where he wants her.

By the way, think you meant 'superior' surface…

While I am in no way comparing her to Secretariat or Fager, it is noteworthy that Sec ran on the other " different surface " of that time exactly as many times as Z did, and Fager half that ...

Unless you consider a third surface that was in brief use in that era somewhere on the eastern leaky roof circuit--pea gravel .

This could have been avoided quite easily.

She probably still jogs but you never know in horse racing.
Are you seriously offering up her age as an excuse as to why she will lose?

My pick is Zenyatta.
Funny that she can be 11 for 11 at 1 1/16th, her connection keep choosing to run her that distance and yet somehow it is a weak distance for her...

Gary Stevens is easily amazed

Yes they secretly add 15 pounds to the saddle of 6 year olds to try to encourage owners to retire horses early. It is the Breeders Cup after all.
