Ned Allard, who paid $6k to late nominate Abiding Star to TC only to be kept imprisoned at Parx, will run if quarantine lifted as scheduled this week.

Still no decision from Winchell-Fiske-Asmussen camp on Gun Runner..

Default Ned Allard

As the memory gets jostled there on E.T.(Ned) Allard. Musta been 25-30 years ago and Ned ships this hoss named Sovereign Dreams ( I think ) up to Saratoga to run for like $35000 going a mile on the turf. This hoss was real real good at a flat mile. They only wrote 1 mile 70 yards or 1 mile 1/16 turf at Suffolk . Me and my brother drive up there to bet on the hoss. On the way a guy who owes us $200 stops us in the car and pays the deuce....wow , perfect timing . The hoss is running in the second race. When they come on the track and the owners and trainers come by we see Ned . He's with Campbell who owned him. How much should we bet goin a flat mile today Ned? Everything in your pocket .... He whistled. We were so ecstatic

Clever redboard. It is only missing that you threatened the guy who owed you the deuce and the jock to make sure the horse won.

Take a long walk off a short pier. Introduce yourself at Saratoga this year.

The forecast is calling for a 100% chance of rain on Saturday. They are expecting as much as an inch.

Its been raining in Maryland all MONTH!! Handicap for a real soft turf I can see them taking the earlier turf races off.. And the high temp for Saturday is suppose to be 57!! Friday it should be partly sunny and 72 so if your coming for the Preakness bundle up 57 and a lot of rain.

I don't get the joke ?
Was it that Point Given didn't roll ? Or are you forgetting the ambush that red bullet made on the mighty fu peg, who at the time looked very tough to beat

They had the running styles totally wrong. For example, there is no chance that Bernardini would have been on the lead. How could they have Bernardini in front of War Emblem in the early going? That is absurd.

Yeah if they are going to bother putting something like that together I don't understand why they don't put a little more effort into having it make sense. Afleet Alex right up on the pace? In that field?
