I am really trying to understand what this post means.

First of all, if you're not interested why do you take the time to inform everyone about it?

Second, why would the number of starts play into your decision to be interested or not? If he had started 40 times would you have had more interest?

Finally, you list the fact that he spent the last 8 months of his life fighting a losing battle as another reason for your disinterest. Are you disinterested because you feel he is a loser? Would you have been interested if he were still holding on to life?

Careful slew....I tried to touch this point yesterday....and people were ready to lynch me. I just hope the people who wanted to watch it got a chance to see it. WAY TOO OFTEN horse racing takes a backseat to other events. How many times has ABC screwed up the Travers Day coverage from Saratoga. One year..we had to see the Kings Bishop on delay and nearly missed the travers because of a Little League World Series game. To make matters worse the game didn't involve any of the teams from the U.S...it was two international teams. poor!!
