Your points are meaningless because you highlighted Michigan State and Purdue as tough teams and excluded Auburn. You're about as useful as s.hit in a diaper.
I didn't exclude Auburn, I even have said that the win versus Auburn was impressive.

Wow, you don't read and comprehend, you just jump at any single sentance...

Thanks for bringing this thread down...

Good luck with your bets...

Yeah, I am the moron.

I am not the one bragging about winning so much money...

Why do you have to prove yourself to strangers? Mommy and Daddy never give you the attention you needed growing up?

The only nerve you hit was the one in your anus with a mold of Tommy Bowden's cock.

Sorry, but I think the Big East is a joke.

The SEC is the best college football conference by far, and any of the upper tier teams would beat the best from the Big East on almost any occasion.
i agree with this for the most part but, rutgers is built like a big 10 team (slow) and usf is more like a sec team. both play good defense and run the ball. wvu is fast and soft with a 2 man gimmick offense. louisville is all offense but doesn't run the ball real well and couldn't make a stop if they had to.
the acc is ok but average from top to bottom and teams look good or bad from week to week.
usf is easily a top 5 team right now. not everybody walks into aubarn and wins and they just plain whipped the barners.

The funny part is if S.FL loses to Louisville or Rutgers. then it shows the Big East is weak. But when LSU gets beat by KY then it shows how strong the SEC is. The same KY team that needed at last second blown coverage to beat Louisville. It is 2007 guys. The SEC and Big 10 are not going to be able to raid places like NJ and NY for the best players anymore. USF is going to continue to get a bunch of good FL players. Like it or not the Big East is going to get better and better. Look how far they have come in so little time.

Let me ask you this though, for S&G...

Do you think Rutgers or L'ville can beat UK or LSU? I honestly don't. Could they beat USF, I think so.

I do not think that Big East football is as good as everyone makes it out to be. Sorry, I just don't buy the hype...

When they win some major bowl games, consistently, then I will give them the respect everyone wants to give the conference and teams. I just see them racking up 9-3, 10-2 records and then getting beat in the big games in December and January (Not the Papa Johns Bowl, International Bowl or Texas Bowl).

Also, don't get me wrong, USF doesn't belong playing in the Papa Johns Bowl this year, but they don't belong in a BCS either...

I just feel it is harder to go 9-3 in the SEC or ACC or Big 10 or Big 12 then going 9-3 in the Big East...

Just my opinion, I do not think anyone is going to change anyones mind on this. Its fun to debate, but when people like Mouth Troll go nuts, it just makes discussing this annoying...

Like Louisville beating Wake Forest, a team you had in bold, last year?

The conversation gets ridiculous because you're in it. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Louisville has beat Uk every year for a while, pounding the hell out of them on a couple occasions, and had them beat this year until a blown coverage in the final seconds. No excuse but they are clearly as good as UK. LSU is the best team in the country supposedly but I saw first hand how good they really are. Good team with a diverse offense and a lot of speed on defense. But I have no doubt that USF could give them fits and I have no questions that Louisville would put up 30 pts on them. The difference between the top 50 teams is not that great.

I think that the SEC is the single most overrated division or conference in sports. They are a good conference with a lot of good teams but they refuse to schedule tough non conferences teams, almost never on the road and when they do, often they lose. The SEC as a conference is 7-4 in non conference "legit" games. The only 11 games against teams that are semi legitimate they are 7-4, mostly in close games. ol miss escaped Memphis, UK went to the final minute against Louisville, Alabama held on against Houston, SC struggled with UNC...There are some mandated games left in which the SEC schools are far from locks . Ga Tech/GA, WV/Ol Miss, SC/Clemson, FL/FSU, Vandy/Wake are all games that could easily go in the favor of the non SEC team. In fact they will probably only be favored in 2 of them.

Of course the tradition and all that crap may matter to someone and certainly influences voters in the polls but the reality out on the field is that the SEC is not nearly as far ahead of everybody else as its boosters may realize.

The West is clearly stronger in the NBA, The AL is stronger in MLB, The AFC is much stronger in the NFL. The SEC is not nearly clearly better than the other major conferences, though the Big Ten appears to be a shell of its former self...

I cant say the SEC is overrated when no other conference has the depth and quality they do. Name one conference that has the depth and quality of the SEC? Maybe just maybe the Pac-10 thats it. So you can call them overrated, but none of the other conferences come close.

If you answer the Big East I will throw up.

The Big 12 draws the vast majority of its players out of Texas. So the pool is diluted a great deal.

The Big 10 is still playing defense in 3rd gear, except for Ohio State.

The ACC has some really bad teams. But I would rate them below the Pac-10.

SEC... thats it. They get the best players from all of the southern states that are football crazed. From Florida to Texas.

Say what you will but the SEC teams are good but not much better than 30 other teams throughout the country. The fact that the SEC is bigger with 12 teams may lead to depth. Fact is that the gap is narrowing quickly.
