i'm hoping for the best today with my 'skins. i hate dallas. with a venemous passion. i loathe them, despise them, with they'd never win another game for ever and ever. wish us luck, we'll need it.

Default NFL thoughts for today

Feels like a trap game, but Cincy -3.5 today is tempting.

Arizona has taken a ton of action this week @ the Jets. Wouldn't touch this game.

KC is getting 9-9.5 at home..but they are just God-awful. I see Denver covering no prob.

San Fran is another that has gotten some love this week @ NO, but I still like the Saints covering at home.

Sorry Coach, but give me Minny and the points, with a small bet on the over.

Battle of the Bays. NO THANKS

This is the week Gerard shows up for Jax. -7 and da over

Too much talent offensively for the Bungles to keep sucking. Palmer wakes up in a big way today. Give the 3.5

SD is the best 1-2 team in the NFL. Oakland is ...well Oakland and SD has too much fire power. -7.5 and over 45.5

I hope the Rams lose every game this year. Benching Bulger is bullsh*t. Under 43 is the only play for me.

Cowpokes and Injuns...screw 'em both..hate 'em both...

Eggles vs Da Bears...no thanks

Hickory hill, I am not trying to pick a fight with you and i dont even know you and you are probably a really sweet guy.

But is that picture real or photoshopped? Did you really make a special pair of Chuck Taylors for DT STABLES?
It's real, doing my part to support the stable that's all. I own nearly a dozen of "Chuckies", they're not good for your feet (no arch support) but real comfortable to wear.

Good assessment of today's games GPK....I think the Titans are for real, so I'll give the three....also like the "big" lines; Broncos, Jags & Chargers. Not a real thrilling wk.4 in the NFL.

Could be just what the Bengals needed

That would make the game a definite no play for me.

I went with a 2 dollar R...Eagles and GB...2 dollar T Eagles and Chargers and laid 2 on the Eagles straight up, 36 or not...(i know, i know...T's and R's are sucker bets...but after Bama last night, I can afford to be stupid

2 games I wouldnt touch with fake money. Den/KC and Dal/Was. Too high of spreads and division opponents make for interesting games. Now that I said that, the favorites should roll...

ARRRRRGHHHHH...Too many missed opportunities by the backup offense and David Akers is a shell of his old self.

You/they were done as soon as Westbrook was declared inactive.

I'm not too sure that was the case. Dont get me wrong, his inactivity put our playbook in a figure 4, but there were other deciding factors that we simply could not overcome. Desean Jackson played with his head up his a$$ for a good portion of the game. (botched punt and bad routes) Akers needs to phuckin learn how to kick the ball from the right hash mark. With the absence of LJ SMith, the red zone presence was a flat out joke. The O line, that somehow gets praise for being good, couldnt get the 1-2 yards needed on multiple occasions ( Shawn Andrews out makes big difference I guess). Big Red had to settle for field goals, and that was the difference in the game. It was like there was no sense of urgency to extend drives and put 7 on the board.

If it werent for the defense, this game would have been over before the second half started. I cant think of the last run defense that has been this good (fast).

I give the bears credit though. They knew where they had to attack and did. Anytime a team has 4 turnovers and wins the game, alot could be said about both parties. All the Birds can do is leave this game in the rear view, take a look at the bad things and work out the kinks. Expand on the playbook for dummies once 36's wheel gets back to normal and open things up.

The only rationale for the line is Pittsburgh's record at home on monday nights over the years and the fact that Baltimore is bringing a rookie QB to the party.
