STOP BETTING!!!

Stop betting your money.

Do what I do when I get into a bad streak and start chasing: post picks here but DON'T PLAY THEM.

I know the feeling, but at least I got my money back here. What makes me sick to my stomach was that I put together a $192 pk6 play that I decided against punching and it came in for $5K plus another $500 on consos.

I happened to catch one of the Capitol OTB shows the other day and they had the Wizard, Michael Kipness on. Now, say what you will about him but he's been doing it a very long time. He spoke about getting into a groove when it comes to betting and NOT CHASING when he's not in it. Makes sense to me, though I still chase. This game is so appealing because it can be so easy sometimes and so difficult others. It's all about mindset and the ability to handle pressure.

Good Hit, Point

I would like to handicap for a living, even if Im not betting. I enjoy it, but the butcher job Im putting up at Del Mar right now likely wont help my chances.

If you're not winning at a particular track, then why are you playing it? I'm sure your ADW has an option to show you your ROI at a given track. Maybe you should stick to playing only those tracks where you're showing a profit.

For your info, I made a LARGE PROFIT AT GULFSTREAM THIS YEAR. Go back and find the Giants Causeway double I had $200 on.... Bruce Levine and Lonley Highway, Shug and TIA.... Then hit the pick 3 for 10$ in an off the turf nightcap. That was a 12k day at the racino, a 12k day where I did not have to bet huge money to make it. I went up that day with about $200 in my pocket to have lunch with my girl, hit a few early and bang.

I put in a few small exacta bets as a saver, but I'm taking a stand against. For what it's worth, he just said on TV that he liked the 1a better.
