Someone in that organization needs to corral the players and tell them to just shut up already. I don't know who Mehta spoke to for this piece and kind of think it's chickensh.it to talk behind your teammates back to a reporter, but I can't see how any of this is a good thing for anyone involved. Like with a family, you handle things inside....not in the media.

Very disappointing...

The original rumor was they were going to create the 2 headed monster of Sparano and Todd Haley. I don't think they are finished yet.

Looks like you have a divided house Hoss. Blame game is a coaching issue. Maybe the dream team of fired head coaches you are putting together will help. Not like they will have any designs on Rex's job or have the usual "I should be a head coach in this league" ego issues.

I don't think it's blame game at all. Some whiner went to the media. That's about it. Almost every former athlete that has spoken about this issue has said it was a chickens.hit move for whoever spoke anonymously about Sanchez. I'll take the word of a guy like Nick Mangold, who not only is a great player, but a respected player over someone who talks to a reporter the way this guy did.

The dream team line is kind of funny. It could be worse though. Dave Wannstedt could be the Jets Assistant Coach/ Defensive Coordinator.

When I think High Powered offense Tony Soprano comes to mind before Tony Sparano... If you are looking for a power running game I don't think Shonn Green is your man. You can't play the Bills and Pats every week.

Would Hue Jackson addition to the staff take the cake...Maybe he can bring in Palmer or Leinart. As far as Wannstedt goes I agree with you. He was an assistant this year and had no input on the Defense??? Because if he did WTF are they thinking???

Shotty had to go. I didn't really care who replaced him as long as he is gone.

We'll see how the off season unfolds and what changes are made. Maybe the Bills could actually be relevant again, so we coud discuss them more.

Im sure Ill be accused of saying this to get a reaction, but whatever. The Jets are a joke, the coach is a joke and the QB is the biggest joke. I thought we judge everything on winning Championships, not getting to the AFC title game and getting beat. My old mans a Jets fan and like I tell him, the future is not bright. Tommy Ice has another 3-5 at least. So the Pats will be good. Then we have Ryan Mallet waiting, sitting, learning..... The Jets D is old, WR are divas getting older and the QB sucks. Not to mention they need at least 1 more RB, at least. Future is not bright for the Jets.

Rex says a lot of things. Probably too much. But, he also said he says those things because he goes into every season expecting to win the Super Bowl.

I can't fault him for that. You should expect to win.

My guess is the sources were Plaxico and Santonio, the dynamic duo of divas. If that's the case this is much to do about nothing. If you were the writer, who would you go to stir it up about Sanchez?

Plax would have nothing to gain by rippin Sanchez. He was on a one year contract and is lookig to get paid. He has enough red flags around him, he doesn't need to stir things up and create another issue.

They spoke on the condition of anonymity, no one has anything to lose except Sanchez.
