2-1....
They will lost at Miami, revenge game for the Heat after Houstons big win last week.

Sefalosha and Perkins dont score much but they play defined roles that they havent been able to quite match since they got hurt. Naturally everyone blames Westbrook but offense isnt the real issue here.

IMO only 4 can come out....
OKC, Houston, Clippers and Golden St.
I think San Antonio is in trouble and POrtlands not there yet.
San Antonio is showing signs of being in trouble.
They are only 13-3 since Feb 1
Only 9-1 in their last 10
Only winning by an average of 11pts in those 9 wins

They have all their key players back from injuries, seem to be rolling going into the final stretch of the season, have a great coach and and a hungry, playoff tested roster.

Yeah they sound like they are in deep trouble.

Harden will get an MVP. Don't forget how young he is.

By advanced metrics, weren't the Thunder a worse team with Perkins on the floor, and wasn't Perkins one of the worst players in the league? Those stats are flawed and overvalued.

Not a chance. Who is the last one dimensional, scoring only MVP?

Offensively he dragged them down yes but when you start Adams, you weaken the 2nd team because he isnt on it and they play really undersized.

But they were a 14.5 point chalk vs a team that is trying to suck

Melo doing what Melo does

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Houston Rockets guard James Harden were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending March 9.

The Knicks were 3-1 behind Anthony, who averaged 29.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.75 steals. He tallied 33 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals during the Knicks' 118-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 5.

Harden guided the Rockets to a 4-0 week, which included wins over the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers and Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 30.3 points, 6.8 assists and 2.50 steals.

The Knicks have been trying to suck for 40 years.

Ask me in three weeks lol

I think OKC when healthy is still the best team but we will see. Most of the other teams have set rotations, defined roles and will start to get into playoff mode but OKC is going to be messing around trying to figure out the best lineups moving forward, depending on the availability of Perkins and Sefalosha.

The Clippers and Houston are playing well but I still think SA is the most dangerous team in the West. They are getting healthy, have a fairly well rested team and wont beat themselves.

Phoenix is fading a bit (3-6 in last 9) and might miss the playoffs because Memphis has recovered from all their injuries and is 21-7 in the last 28. Phoenix also only has 7 home games out of its last 19. Amazing season for the Suns but they look like they are going to be climbing an uphill battle.

The West is going to be a war for the 3-6 teams.

Sefalosha has been a much bigger loss than Perkins. The losses against the Suns and Lakers had nothing at all to do with size, both played small the vast majority of the game and Perkins rarely plays when that happens. But wing players are just destroying the Thunder, and that is Thabo's role.

We supposedly needed Perkins against teams like Memphis, but did fine without him. Tonight might be a different story. We'll see how Adams does. He is the kind of player that bothers Howard, but he will have to stay out of foul trouble. Perkins is Howard's kryptonite.

Should be an interesting game tonight. The Rockets got the worst of it schedule-wise the first two times against OKC (4th game in 5 nights) then 5th game in 7 nights when they had the epic 2nd half meltdown. Now, they're playing well and OKC is struggling. I'm sure Patrick Beverley and Westbrook will share pleasantries before the game.

Yeah agree that Sefalosha is a bigger loss but the point was that missing 2 starters disrupts the all the lineups, the second team as well. Guys are forced into different roles and asked to play different minutes. They will adjust but it might take a few games but the Skip Bayless types want to make every game a referendum. And you are right about the foul trouble with Adams. Still a no respect from the refs rookie. Shouldnt matter but it still seems to.

I was thinking this am that OKC might be better off in 2nd seed and playing Dallas in 1st round. They'd still have home court over anyone except SA and the way the West is there are no guarantees the 1 and 2 seeds are going to advance to WC finals like the East

Suns are worn out. A bunch of players are playing career high minutes and they play at a fast pace as well. They have a boatload of cap space and #1 picks. Future is bright.

I think Houston makes a GIANT statement and wins @OKC tonight.
