Anyway Madson will do just fine... probably much better than Lidge (this year Lidge) in the closing spot. That man is fierce!

Any Dodger fan that even hears his name clenches their a$$ cheeks together.

I must admit, im one of the guys that wanted the Phils to move him instead of Gavin Floyd. Boy, was I wrong. (not that Floyd is a stiff)

He's straining enough that they want to try to zero the machine out. Any gambler out there that has any discipline (at all) will try to zero the machine out (before they try again.) I think everyone's different regarding that. If you can't wait until you feel you're starting at zero again, then you're in trouble. I've always thought this Lidge guy has a harder time getting over blown saves than most relievers do. The Yankees' closer is the opposite extreme. Long story short:....Good move by Philly. I don't think he was gunna just magically start pitching better on his own. Basically, last year, the guy got on a roll, and rode it. Starting a new season was like zeroing out the machine(the opposite way.) This is a mentally questionable guy(always been the case.) Welcome to the real Brad Lidge. Your pitching coach would appear to be the genius involved with the Phillies. That's just one of many edges you have over us right now. We have a very mediocre pitching coach. Torre is basically on his own there.

Dodgers are gunna have free parking for the Oakland Series coming up. Gales, you've embarassed them into doing this. "The seats are empty, Scuds, the seats are empty!!"
