All the Notre Dame haters know that a trip to the title game is looking more and more likely for the Irish. I personally think Oregon will lose to Stanford and if ND can beat USC they will play KState in the big one.

Oregon isn't going to lose to Stanford.

If you guys can beat USC is a big question. On the road, in what will surely be a game they will be up for, as I'm sure they would love to spoil your season. I think you guys go down there, but it's been a great season.

There are two teams in the top 10 that ND absolutely has no chance of being within 17 points of at the end of the game.

They happen to be K State and especially Oregon.

The vaunted ND defense would be badly exposed.

alabama losing should illustrate perfectly to everyone that any team can lose at any time.

Finally, fine work by Danny.

Although it has been proven long before 'Nana's loss.

Those who say, Team A will not beat Team B....are lost in their own high opinions----of themselves.

Good call. Almost seemed like Oregon wanted to lose tonight with the way they played and were coached. another choke by Oregon.

People dont like the system, but every game matters. So, who gets in or knocked out next week??
And then the conference games.....

Gotta love that college ball

I still think USC beats Notre Dame which would really make a mess of things.

But obviously, they don't all matter. LSU beating Alabama didn't matter one iota last year. Most likely, neither will A&M beating Alabama. What matters is Alabama just happened to lose first, so for some reason that gets rewarded.

In regard to final standings, bowl and conference games, they all matter. What happens next week matters too. The iron bowl, dame vs usc....who plays georgia in atlanta in the sec. Probably bama, but its not set in stone yet.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Saying "they all count" is a bunch of BS perpetuated by those in favor of bowls, and now the BCS. You now have Notre Dame and a bunch of teams with one loss, like 10 of them. Who plays will be decided mostly by people that don't even watch the games.

The 4 team playoff will help, but it won't be some cure all either.

The key will be who's #4 tomorrow. Notre Dame will be #1, followed by Alabama and Georgia I presume. If Oregon drops to #4, I think the championship will still end up Alabama/Oregon. I think USC beats Notre Dame, even with a backup quarterback. That will knock ND out. The Bama/Georgia loser is out. Oregon's best case scenario is for UCLA to beat Stanford next week. If UCLA beats Stanford and Oregon can close out their schedule with wins against top-15 Oregon St and UCLA, they are back in the title game.

I never thought I'd say this in my lifetime, but i'll be rooting for USC when they lock horns. A Lane Kiffin-led USC team at that. Combine that with the fact I still believe my Birds can turn it around and win the NFC East this year, I should probably be getting fitted for a straitjacket!

Manti Teo is a monster and on offense they have legit SEC speed for the first time in a long time.

Undefeated going into USC with s chance at going to the SHIP!

HERE COME THE IRISH!
Looks about right! GO IRISH!!!!

is everyone happy now? the WORST team in the top 10 is #1 for at least a week.
depends on how the polls fall out and next week games. this COULD be another ALL SEC National Championship game. Fla and Lsu are back in play!
an all SEC N-C game will better than any SEC team Blowing out nd.
