I could see when Falwell died. You ever spend much time in the south? Not Atlanta, not Charlotte. I mean mid size cities and smaller towns.

It is different. That is how guys like Helms, Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd got elected.

Byrd was head of his Ku Klux Klan office. His title was The Exalted Cyclops. No sh1t.

It is a different world.

I have not lived in the South and have only spent a few months in small towns in the South.

I get that it's a different world. It doesn't make it right. People stone their daughters for getting raped in other parts of the world. It doesn't make it right.

It doesn't excuse it. Not for a minute.
