Great win for the Flyers. It's not a sure thing but I have a feeling the Flyers will win game 5. It just seems like they got it going.

Jesus, could there be a worse goal song in the NHL then the Hawks song? 7 F'n times tonight (not including the one when they won the game). Almost as bad as that girl singin at the Belmont .

That song gets to me almost as bad as that horn the vikings sound all the time

The hawks looked fantastic to start yesterday, the flyers hung around but the hawks played an outstanding game and were just killing the flyers in the first period. Hopefully the flyers can get the win in philly and bring it back to Chicago for game 7.

The Fratellis were at Metro last night and every time the Hawks scored they played it live. Had big screens set up showing the game...If I wasn't a Hawk's fan it would be annoying, but damn it's cool when you are the UC and they break it out.

I know the Flyers have had an amazing run as an 8 seed. But I really believe if they end up losing, the GM has to take some heat for not acquiring a top notch goalie at the trade deadline. I know Leighton has had an incredible run, but coming into this season (even with the acquistion of Emery) the goaltending was a big question mark. Then after all the injuries not to address it at the trade deadline was a huge mistake. How much could of cost them to trade for Dwayne Roloson from the Isles? The guy almost won the cup by himself for the Oilers a couple of years ago. They really have a tremendous lineup, but their glaring weekness is in the nets. I know it's tough to find fault on a team that's 2 games away from the cup, but I really believe that's what going to cost them from winning it.

for what its worth they were the 7 seed matt. the only reason i know this is b.c my team was beat by the 8th seeded team.

as far as getting a goalie at deadline, i thought they should have made a push as well. But, they would have had to give up a pretty good size asset (money wise) to fit anyone under the cap. If i remember correctly they have been up against the cap pretty much all year, if they were to make a run at rolo they would have had to part with someone like hartnell, not just prospects and picks.

Leighton basically stood on his head in the regular season, and all the flyers faithful were all about him, then the playoffs start and the wheels start coming off, now the bloom is off the rose and it shows why he's a 255K a year goalie who was picked up off of waivers from what then was the worst team in hockey, the carolina hurricanes. And as a caps fan i know this all too well, the whole part about the wheels falling off for a goalie in the playoffs, cue Jose Theodore.

i've said it since the series started, leighton has been on borrowed times IMO for a while now. Hope he gets the start tonight though, what is like 5-0 at home in his last 5?

Oh no they have got women hockey players in a uproar. They were "offended" by the picture. Can't anyone do or say anything in the damn world without someone getting "offended"? Anyone who sees that pic and gets offended should really, to paraphrase John Riggins, "lighten up".

Bad goal by Leighton. He brought the Hawks back to life.

Eh, he's doing what he can. Philly just can't sustain any kind of attack. 27-13 in favor of Chicago.

I understand that we live in the overreative, 24 hour a day, instant news cycle that gives exposure to these idiots but sometimes it just gets ridiclous. The NAACP protesting black holes as racist and this hockey chick mad because of a picture of Proger in a dress. It is just a joke.
