When you've got my buddy RHT publicly thanking you for making him look brilliant, it's pretty clear that it's just gone too far.

I love this post.

Rachel was a very good horse in 09, just how good I don't know. For some they needed her to face better competition post Woodward to define her legacy just as some need Zenyatta to beat males on dirt. Each horseplayer has the right to use their own guidelines to determine a horse's greatness. Do I think Rachel is a talented horse, obcourse I do, I also believe she is overrated, and we will see if she can match her Woodward win of last year. Hopefully the field this year will consist of something better than the usual suspects of last year. But nope, I don't think she is awful by any means. Infact I have no problem still saying she is a very good horse, but she is certainly not as good as Zenyatta in my opinion.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I may have to pay more attention to you. I never knew you were the...atleast you made a new internet pal in Brian S. That's what I do bring people together.

Well they are before my time as well but they have these things called books...

And if you don't know the history of the game why do you feel so comfortable in placing Zenyatta among the greats of the game?

Come on, make a real arguement! None of that matters when talking about this subject. And who wants to read books when we have such things as message boards, Facebook Fan Groups, TVG and YouTube!

Would you take the 17 in a row or the 16 for 21?

I always like the fact that Lucien Laurin couldn't see the finish of the Wood, and asked "who won the it?" Penery Chenery told him "You did" and walked away.

Prove Out did beat Riva Ridge in the Gold Cup in Riva's last race.
